The Carencro Welcome Center serves as a testament to the deep-rooted heritage and cultural legacy of the Acadian people in this region. It stands as a symbol of honor for the local community and provides a space to celebrate and preserve the traditions and stories of the past. When opened the public can tour the Center and see the history of Carencro as well as see how these houses were built and even insulated at the time. The welcome Center can even be reserved for meetings or other small events. From time to time, you can even find Girl Scouts selling cookies.
